So, who is this girl anyway?

I’m a girl from the north who ended up living in the south, where I’m frequently heard asking for “pop” instead of “soda,” ending sentences with “eh?” and agonizing over the fortune of Michigan State’s football and basketball teams.

With a long history in newspaper and magazine design, I’ve got a foundation in solid, basic design. But I’m also an artist and photographer, which helped me win awards for offbeat, unusual work that went far beyond “basic.” I also have experience in public relations, advertising, and marketing, as well as Web design and development.

I grew up in northern Michigan, attended Michigan State and have worked in Ohio, Michigan, and North Carolina, where I have lived for the past six years.

When I’m not working, I can be found renovating my historic, 1929-built home, reupholstering furniture, watching “Back to the Future” on television, or walking my Boston Terrier with my husband.
